Our assessment at the property can take up to 1-2 hours, this will be done by a member of the management team. We will at this time meet the client and spend as much time as possible to gather all the relevant information as to what exactly the client is looking for from the placement, and also get a feel of the type of carer that best suits them on a personal level. We will also check on the details that have previously been given to us. While visiting the client we would also like to inspect the property so that it meets our requirements for the carer who will be coming to stay with you.

The 1st week of any placement will be conducted by a senior carer. At Cariad Care Services we strongly believe that this initial 1st week with a member of our senior care team is vitally important to making the placement a success. They are trained in every aspect of care provision and have a fantastic temperament, empathy and understanding of any situation, their feedback is invaluable to help us engage the correct carers going forward.

At the end of the 1st week the chosen carer will be with you to start what hopefully will be a long and happy working friendship, they will have all relevant information regarding the client and their needs beforehand. They will meet up with the senior carer who will show them around the property and give them a full and thorough handover enabling a smooth transition.
